This was written by a rescue team after the Oklahoma City bombing. This building was directly across the street from the Murrah federal building bombed at the hands of timothy mcvey April, 1995. The memorial is beautiful. The fiunal line in this message, "and God demands it."
Did you see it at night? if not you so have to.. oh and make sure you go onto the top of the memorial area too. when you walk out of the two big wall openings, the arches, depending on which way you exit, if you go out the left side facing the church, make a right and go up the first set of stairs , if you go out the right side facing the post office and jesus, go left. up those stairs is where they perserve a small piece of grass, which is where the Kids playground was. they have small crosses with candles hanging on the fence with the small childrens names. It makes me cry each and every time I am there. Oh and did you leave something on the wall? My very first time I went, I left a small Bronze Effiel Tower that I had gotten a long time ago, I think it was 99' . and when I went back about 3 wks ago, it was still there on the left side toward the end. anywho enough of my chatting.
Yes! It was beautiful at night!! I didn't go dig my tripod out of the car trunk. We were tired;just got out of a NIN concert, but now I have a good reason to go back! I'll have to remember to take something for the fence, and the 'Weeping Jesus' was very moving. I took many pics you'll see more. Thanks love!

Death wasn't good enough for either of them and I think Terry Nickols is still alive.
