On the fenceby *GONE-EVERLONG

There was so much to shoot of this beautiful fence, I decided to do a series of pics. A fence has many symbols such as, security, status, art, isolation, mistrust, paradoxical loneliness, illusive thinking, boundaries, intrusiveness on the scenery.; privacy; the mind set of the person behind the fence and those outside. When I see a large house surrounded by a high rod iron fence, I think of smugness and condescension . I think of people who want many things, and live in pretension; people who dwell on the status of class. I see facades of people who do not find contentment in their wealth. People who fret over losing all of their material shit and who fret over getting more. You see material things never creates happiness but only boundaries to the real world, the world of the everyday laborer.
